Uniformly Archimedean atomic MV-effect algebra is sharply dominating

چکیده
Following the study of sharp domination in effect algebras, in particular, in atomic Archimedean MV-effect algebras it is proved that if an atomic MV-effect algebra is uniformly Archimedean then it is sharply dominating.

On the Archimedean Multiple-valued Logic Algebras
The Archimedean property is one of the most beautiful axioms of the classical arithmetic and some of the methods of constructing the field of real numbers are based on this property. It is well-known that every Archimedean `-group is abelian and every pseudo-MV algebra is commutative. The aim of this paper is to introduce the Archimedean property for pseudo-MTL algebras and FLw-algebras. The ma...
متن کاملArchimedean Atomic Lattice Effect Algebras with Complete Lattice of Sharp Elements
We study Archimedean atomic lattice effect algebras whose set of sharp elements is a complete lattice. We show properties of centers, compatibility centers and central atoms of such lattice effect algebras. Moreover, we prove that if such effect algebra E is separable and modular then there exists a faithful state on E. Further, if an atomic lattice effect algebra is densely embeddable into a c...
متن کاملSharp and Meager Elements in Orthocomplete Homogeneous Effect Algebras
We prove that every orthocomplete homogeneous effect algebra is sharply dominating. Let us denote the greatest sharp element below x by x↓. For every element x of an orthocomplete homogeneous effect algebra and for every block B with x ∈ B, the interval [x↓, x] is a subset of B. For every meager element (that means, an element x with x↓ = 0), the interval [0, x] is a complete MV-effect algebra....
متن کاملMV-algebras: a variety for magnitudes with archimedean units
Chang’s MV-algebras are, on the one hand, the algebras of the infinite-valued Lukasiewicz calculus and, on the other hand, they are categorically equivalent to abelian lattice-ordered groups with a distinguished strong unit, for short, unital `-groups. The latter are a modern mathematization of the time-honored euclidean magnitudes with an archimedean unit. While for magnitudes the unit is no l...
متن کاملOn the hyperreal state space
The aim of this work is to study a class of non-archimedean valued measures on MV-algebras. We call them hyperreal states and their definition naturally arise from (the uniform version of) Di Nola representation theorem for MV-algebras (cf [5, 6]): for any MV-algebra A = (A,⊕,¬,>,⊥) there exists a ultrafilter U on the cardinality of A such that A embeds into (∗[0, 1]U) Spec(A) (where as usual S...
